What this playbook delivers

One-task briefs, a mechanic-testing matrix, an install ledger and a 30-day operating plan. This is a proposed workflow, not a guarantee of doubled reach or a verified reconstruction of the unnamed studio's results in the post. Organic distribution still has creator, production and operating costs.

Step 1. Pick one install reason

GOAL: Define why a particular player would try the game.

ACTION: Choose one player segment and one observable gameplay moment. Capture genuine gameplay showing the moment and list what the game can actually deliver. Set a downstream success event such as tutorial completion alongside installs.

TOOL: A shared evidence sheet plus approved gameplay recordings.

OUTPUT: Audience, desired experience, footage ID, supported promise and activation event.

COMMON MISTAKE: Asking every creator to explain the whole game.

Step 2. Give twenty creators one task, not one script

GOAL: Learn which reasons and presentations work.

ACTION: Assign five creator groups to four distinct mechanics, with a shared audience and offer. Keep the required proof and destination fixed. Let creators choose phrasing, pacing and their own authentic context. Do not ask for invented testimonials or coordinated fake reactions.

TOOL: The brief below; one row per creator assignment.

OUTPUT: Twenty accountable assignments with creator, mechanic and footage IDs.

COMMON MISTAKE: Treating twenty identical reads as twenty independent ideas.

Task: Show one real moment that gives this audience a reason to try the game.
Audience / motivation:
Assigned mechanic:
Required gameplay proof and approved claims:
One action for the viewer:
Link / attribution ID:
Creative freedom: wording, pacing, personal framing.
Restrictions: no invented outcomes, misleading gameplay or unlicensed assets.
Disclosure, usage rights and brand approval:
Delivery date / review owner:

Step 3. Test four mechanics deliberately

GOAL: Separate a promising idea from one lucky creator or opening.

ACTION: Start with challenge, surprising failure, progression payoff and discovery. Use five creators per mechanic if all twenty are available. Log the hook separately from the mechanic. In a second round, change only the hook or demonstration within a promising mechanic.
