Hiring more creators does not automatically create more learning. Without a hypothesis structure, shared taxonomy and measurement plan, a 50-creator campaign becomes 50 unrelated videos and a pile of vanity metrics.

| The Lottery | The Lab | |
|---|---|---|
| Brief | “Make something cool” | One testable job per asset |
| Variables | Everything changes at once | Primary hypothesis is explicit |
| Output | Random creative volume | Comparable evidence |
| Decision | Pick the biggest view count | Replicate winning angles |
Before creators are sourced, write one sentence:
At the end of this campaign, we need to know which audience problem, promise or context consistently produces qualified attention.
Then select 5–10 hypotheses. A hypothesis must name the audience, the angle, the expected behavior and the evidence behind it.
A practical structure:
This lets you distinguish an angle that repeats from an unusually strong individual creator.
