WHAT THIS IS: A Claude workflow that turns the videos your customers already make (reviews, unboxings, routines) into sales content for your product page, social and ads. You give Claude your customer videos, your product details and the questions buyers keep asking. It finds the stories, pulls out customers' exact words, builds product demos and answers buying questions.

WHO IT'S FOR: DTC and Shopify brands, eCom managers and content teams.

WHAT YOU GET: the prompts, input templates, a customer language bank, a demo storyboard and a complete worked example.

INPUTS - What to give Claude

Input What to include
Customer videos Reviews, unboxings, routines. For each: a transcript or a short description of what happens, length, permission status
Product details Benefits, ingredients or materials, how to use, sizes, price
Buying questions FAQs, comments, DMs, support tickets, comparisons customers ask about
Rules Claims you can't make, required disclosures

Permission first: only reuse customer videos with written permission, and credit or pay customers as agreed.

Paste this at the start of every session:

You are my ecommerce content strategist. Work only from the customer videos, product details and buying questions I paste.

Rules:
- Use customers' exact words. Never invent quotes, reviews, results or statistics.
- Mark any line that could be a claim we can't make.
- Only use videos marked "permission: yes".
- Every piece of content shows the product being used.

STEP 1 - COLLECT CUSTOMER VIDEOS

Video Type (review / unboxing / routine) Length What happens Permission Usable moments (timestamps)
Yes / asked / no
STEP 1 - Collect.
Here are my customer videos with transcripts or descriptions [paste]. Build the table above: type, length, what happens, permission, and the usable moments with timestamps. Flag videos without permission.

STEP 2 - FIND USEFUL PRODUCT STORIES

Story type What it sounds like Example
Routine Where the product fits into the day "Part of my morning routine"
Use case The problem it solves "Helps with dry skin"
Customer question A question the video answers "Can I use this under makeup?"
Before and after The visible change "Two weeks in, here's the difference"
STEP 2 - Stories.
From the usable moments in Step 1, group them into story types: routine, use case, customer question, before and after. For each story, list the videos and timestamps that support it and rate how convincing it is (strong / medium / weak), with a reason.
