THE IDEA: Most D2C brands shoot one video per concept, post it, and learn almost nothing. If it works, nobody knows which part worked. If it flops, nobody knows which part killed it. This kit turns one shoot into a controlled set of 12 videos built from interchangeable blocks: 3 openings × 2 demonstrations × 2 endings = 12 combinations. Every video differs from its neighbours by one block, so every result teaches you something specific: which opening stops the scroll, which demo builds belief, which ending gets the click.

HOW TO USE IT: Fill in the Consistency Lock (Part 1) before anyone touches a camera. Film from the shot list (Part 2) using the run sheet (Part 3). Edit with the assembly plan (Part 4) and the line bank (Part 5). Log every video in the results sheet (Part 6) and use the decision rules (Part 7) to pick the next batch. The whole system works for paid (Meta, TikTok) and organic (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, creator accounts).

PART 1 - The Consistency Lock (fill in before the shoot)

The 12 videos only teach you something if the parts you are NOT testing stay identical. If V03 has a different price, a different claim, and a different opening than V01, you can't tell which change moved the number. Lock these before filming and tape the sheet next to the camera.

Locked element Write it down Why it must stay fixed
Product + variant Exact SKU, colour, size, pack shown A different colourway reads as a different product
Core claim One sentence, word-for-word Two claims = two tests mixed into one
Proof you can back up Review count, test result, guarantee Every claim on screen must be defensible
Offer Price, discount, bundle, shipping, code Offer changes swamp creative changes
Landing destination One PDP or landing page URL A different page changes conversion, not the video
Talent + wardrobe Same person, same outfit for all blocks Blocks must cut together invisibly
Set + light Same location, same time of day Light jumps break the edit at the joints
Audio Same mic, same room tone, same music bed Sound jumps are more noticeable than visual ones
Format 9:16 vertical, safe zones respected Captions and UI must not cover the product

Claim rules for D2C: only say what the product page, reviews, or test data can support. No "cures", no unqualified "best", no before/after you didn't actually film, no invented review counts. Health, beauty and supplement claims need extra care: stick to what your compliance notes and product labelling allow.

PART 2 - The footage to capture

Seven blocks, each filmed as its own self-contained piece with a clean start and a clean end. Film 3 takes minimum per block plus the safety coverage at the bottom.
