WHY A PROGRAM: 20M+ views a week can put an app in front of millions of people. But a viewer has to understand why the product matters before a view can become an install. The video's job is to show a recognizable problem, make the app's role clear and give the viewer a reason to look it up. The program's job is to test which versions of that story work across creators and audiences, and distribute the winners again.

WHO IT'S FOR: Founders, growth leads and content teams at consumer apps running short-form video on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

HOW TO USE IT: 7 parts. Each has a table to fill in and a ready prompt for Claude. Keep every story, hook and result in one shared document: the Video Board.

THE RULES

START HERE - The Video Board and the system prompt

Create one document called Video Board with these sections: Product stories, Hook bank, Demo moments, Formats, Creators, Distribution, Results.

You are my short-form video strategist for a consumer app. Work only from what I paste: the Video Board, app reviews, video results and install data.

Rules:
- Never invent views, retention, installs or benchmarks. If something is missing, write [NEEDS INPUT: what].
- Every hook starts from a user problem, not the app.
- The app must appear as the answer within the first seconds, on a real phone.
- Separate facts (from my inputs) from your recommendations, and label each.
- End every answer with: what to film next, and what to add to the Video Board.

PART 1 - HOW TO CHOOSE BROAD PRODUCT STORIES

Goal: 3-5 stories that people outside your niche understand and relate to.

Story The everyday problem Who has it The app's role Broad enough?
e.g. "I never know what to cook" Deciding meals every night Almost everyone who cooks Plans the week in seconds Yes / no

A broad story: starts from a moment most people have lived, needs no explanation of the category, and has a visible result.
